On Friday, June 10, the First Advanced Training Course for Doctors on Board and Substitute Doctors on Board concluded with the awarding of diplomas.
Promoted by ForMare – Polo Nazionale per lo Shipping on the impetus and initiative of Confitarma – Confederazione Italiana Armatori and its member shipowning companies, in coordination with the Cardarelli Hospital in Naples, the course provided the necessary skills to carry out the profession on board for both the medical and the maritime parts.
The 12 graduating physicians expressed great satisfaction with the topics covered and the professionalism of the lecturers, as well as the opportunity to take advantage of extremely innovative technologies. The trainees will also be given the opportunity to embark on board the ships of the Grimaldi Group, sponsor of this first experimental session.
